HAOC Students Celebrate Impressive GCSE results!
Hot on the heels of last week’s outstanding A-level achievements, Harris Academy Ockendon is once again celebrating as students receive an impressive set of GCSE and Vocational qualification results.
In English, 78% of students secured a grade 4 or higher, with over 21% achieving top grades of 7–9. Maths results were equally strong, with 74% attaining grade 4 or above and 23% reaching grades 7 or higher. These results surpass national averages and reflect the hard work and dedication of both students and staff.
Success was widespread across the curriculum. Pass rates (grade 4+) exceeded 80% in Art, Biology, Chemistry, and PE, soared past 90% in Media and Physics, and reached a perfect 100% in Music and Further Maths.
Particularly noteworthy was the number of students achieving top grades (7+), which accounted for at least one third of all grades awarded in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Business, and Further Maths—an extraordinary accomplishment.
