We've been in touch with and can confirm this damage was not caused by students. We take vandalism & anti-social behaviour very seriously, and glad to hear that our students are meeting our standards. Do get in touch if you have any further concerns

Introduction

At Harris Academy Ockendon we will provide a broad and balanced curriculum to ALL students despite the challenges of Covid-19.

The majority of our students are able to enjoy face to face learning and have resumed their education in the physical school, however, should any students need to use the virtual school, then this section of the website will explain how to access their curriculum.

We have included useful information about how to get the best out of remote learning, tips for activities to do at home, as well as important safeguarding information.

Working from home (WFH) plans are also included.  The details within each plan will match the curriculum content normally covered in the physical school.  Students should follow their normal timetable where possible, so enough time is dedicated to each subject.  Students should email completed work to their teachers where required.

We have produced a brief guide for parents about remote education, please click here
