Science *
Science is a way of thinking more than a body of knowledge, it is an entire exercise into finding out what is true.
Science rewards curiosity and gives us the tools we need to develop an understanding of the natural world based on evidence.
Science is a fundamental part of society, without it there would be no advancement in industry, technology and medicine. Try and imagine a world without antibiotics, computers or engines!
Our curriculum is designed to create responsible citizens that understand the impact that their actions have on their environment.
We want our students to make a conscious effort to leave the world in better place for future generations.
Therefore, over the five and then seven-year Science curriculum students will study the delicate relationship between organisms and their environments, the structures of living organisms, the Earth’s resources that sustain them and the energy that is recycled between them.
