Virtual Learning Hub
At Harris Academy Ockendon, we are committed to delivering a broad and balanced curriculum to all our students.
This section of our website is designed to support students who may need to access their learning virtually. Here, you’ll find everything you need to stay connected with your education, including:
- Guidance on accessing your curriculum remotely
- Helpful tips for making the most of remote learning
- Important safeguarding information to ensure students stay safe online
- Links to virtual resources that align with our intended curriculum
While we firmly believe that nothing can replace the value of face-to-face teaching, our virtual learning plans are carefully designed to ensure students continue to access key knowledge and skills across their subjects.
We encourage students to follow their normal school timetable as closely as possible. This helps maintain structure and ensures that each subject receives the attention it deserves.
Where required, students should submit completed work via email to their subject teachers.
We hope this hub helps every student feel confident and supported in their learning journey.
We are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for children and adults and promoting a climate where people feel confident about sharing any concerns they may have about their own safety or the wellbeing of others, be this in our physical or virtual schools.
