Yr 8 and Yr 13 Parents' Evening

We will have a Parents Evening for Yr 8 and Yr 13 students and their parents/carers on Tuesday 10^th February from 3.45 – 7.00pm.

Please go to harrisockendon.schoolcloud.co.uk to make appointments with all your child’s teachers - bookings open at 12.00pm on Tuesday 3^rd February and close at 4.00pm in Monday 9^th February.

Appointments are on a first come first served basis, will be limited to five minutes and conducted face-to-face. It will be a great opportunity to discuss your child’s academic progress and their general attitude to learning; for year 13, it will also be an opportunity to discuss how they have performed in their recent mock exams.

As the individual meetings will only be five minutes in duration, we recommend that the conversation is open, frank, and direct. It should focus on two key questions:

• What is their attitude to learning like, what do they need to improve for the rest of the academic year?
• What do they need to do to ensure they continue to make progress and be successful?

If you are unable to make an appointment with a particular teacher but would like to speak with them, please ask any member of staff present on the evening and they will provide you with their email address so you can contact them to make a separate appointment, either in person or over the phone.

Please note that our school SENCO, Miss Ferdinando will also be present at the evening should you wish to speak to her, this will not require pre-booking.
