GCSE Results 2026

Following last week's excellent A-level results, Harris Academy Ockendon is proud to celebrate another year of outstanding achievement as students receive an impressive set of GCSE and vocational qualification results.

The results reflect the commitment, determination and ambition of our students, alongside the unwavering support and expertise of our staff. Once again, our young people have demonstrated what can be achieved through hard work, resilience and a dedication to excellence.

In English, 74% of students achieved a grade 5 or above, with more than one in five securing the highest grades of 7 to 9. Mathematics performance was equally strong, with 73% attaining grade 4 or above. These outcomes exceed national averages and underline the strength of teaching and learning across the Academy.

Success was evident across the curriculum. More than 80% of students achieved grade 4 or above in Art, Chemistry and Physical Education, while pass rates exceeded 90% in Biology, Physics, Hospitality and Sport. Particularly remarkable was the achievement of a 100% pass rate in both Music and Further Mathematics.

The Academy also saw an exceptional number of students achieving the highest grades. At least one third of all grades awarded were grade 7 or above in Biology, Religious Studies, Physics, Hospitality, Sport and Further Mathematics, highlighting the depth of academic excellence across a wide range of subjects.

These results represent not only academic success, but also the character, perseverance and aspirations of our students. They leave Harris Academy Ockendon equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence to take the next steps in their educational journeys.
