Sixth Form Results 2026
Today is a day of pride and celebration at Harris Academy Ockendon as our Sixth Form students receive a fantastic set of examination results, opening doors to leading universities, degree pathways and exciting apprenticeship opportunities.
With 77% of grades awarded at C or above, 15% at A/A* and an exceptional 99% pass rate, this year's results are a testament to the hard work, determination and resilience of our students. Just as importantly, they reflect the dedication of our staff and the culture of high expectations that sits at the heart of HAOC.
What makes these achievements particularly significant is the progress our students have made during their time with us. This year, the Academy's Value-Added performance sits well above last year's national average, demonstrating the transformational impact of outstanding teaching, personalised support and a community that believes every young person can succeed.
Across the curriculum, students achieved remarkable outcomes. Mathematics and Further Mathematics students secured an average grade of B or higher, while more than two-thirds of students studying Computing and Business achieved grades A to B*. In both Art and English, 100% of students achieved A to C grades*, and our BTEC Sport students excelled with an average grade of Distinction.
Students celebrating included:
Mantas Jomantas achieved A* in Mathematics, A in Economics and A in Further Mathematics and will be studying Mathematics with Finance at the University of Exeter.
Mohammed Khan achieved A* in Computer Science, A* in Further Mathematics, A* in Mathematics and an A in his EPQ. He will be undertaking a Degree Apprenticeship with Morgan Stanley.
Amritpal Singh achieved A in Economics, A in Maths and B in Further Maths and will be taking up an Apprenticeship with In-Step.
Martin Pavlov achieved A* in Economics, A* in Geography and an A in Mathematics and will be starting an Apprenticeship with Deloitte UK.
Alfie Milbourn achieved A in Business, A in Economics and C in Maths and will be studying Economics and Finance at Lancaster University.
Elias Kempster achieved A in English, A in History and A in Sociology and will be studying Law at Durham University.
Ervin Macastena achieved A* in Economics, A in Business Studies and A in Mathematics and will be taking up a training programme at Gatwick Flight School.
Kamila Borkowska achieved A* in Biology, A in Chemistry and A in Mathematics and has secured a place to study Medicine at City St George's, University of London.
Maddie Dowling achieved A in Biology, A in Chemistry, and B in Maths, and will be studying Biomedical Science at Queen Mary University.
Missy Henderson achieved A in Business, A in Economics, and A in Media Studies and will be starting an Apprenticeship at Saffery.
