Poppy Appeal and Remembrance
As part of our commitment to serving our community, HAOC are proud once again to be supporting the Poppy Appeal, with all proceeds going to The Royal British Legion.
The Royal British Legion is at the heart of a national network that supports our Armed Forces community, remembering and supporting those who lost their lives on active service in all conflicts, from the beginning of the First World War up to the present day, as well as ex-service personnel and their families.
From Tuesday 3rd November, students will have the opportunity to purchase a Poppy, which will be available at student entrance or reception. Any donation (cash only), no matter how small, will be very gratefully received.
In addition, in recognition of Remembrance Sunday, we will be holding a two-minutes silence on Wednesday 11th November to honour those who have served and sacrificed in conflicts past and present.
We value this important act of remembrance and invite our students to stand with us in showing their support.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
