Thurrock Foodbank Drive 2026
We are pleased once again to be supporting the Thurrock Foodbank. Since we became involved with the charity, we have collected over 1 ½ tonnes of donations. As a school, we are incredibly proud of our students, families, and staff for their part in serving our community and helping those in crisis, and we are keen to build on this further.
In 2025/26, food banks in the Trussell Trust’s network supported over 3 million families around the country with food packs. They are truly an important lifeline to many people in Thurrock, including our own community, which is why we continue to support them. Please visit Thurrock Foodbank’s Website to find out more.
The Foodbank List
Students are encouraged to contribute to a list of items that the Foodbank desperately needs (shown below). This list contains 24 items. This is not an exhaustive list; you may have other things you wish to contribute. We appreciate not all families will be able to donate, but any donations, however small, are greatly appreciated.
Please bring your donations to reception by Thursday 12th November 2026. The foodbank will be collecting all donations from Harris Academy Ockendon on Friday 13th November 2026.
Thank you in advance for your support.
