Welcome to our Sixth Form

Harris Academy Ockendon’s motto of “Enjoy being the best you can be” continues in our Sixth Form. We are focussed on supporting students to be ambitious and strive for the most aspirational destinations - whether that be University, an apprenticeship or a full time work placement.

Our Sixth Form has grown in numbers over the last few years because of the high quality teaching and learning we provide as well as the pastoral care and support given by our Sixth Form team.

Students at Harris Academy Ockendon are encouraged to enhance their academic qualifications through a wide variety of extra-curricular opportunities that are carefully chosen in order to enhance the applications that they make at the end of Year 13.

Our thriving Sixth Form offers everything our students love about their education in an environment where they are treated as young adults.

Miss Dean: Assistant Principal in Charge of Sixth Form

“I am incredibly proud of the Sixth Form at Harris Academy Ockendon and every student within our Academy. Our students are ambitious and they envision the scholarly attitudes I believe that every student should have. Students at Harris Academy Ockendon are expected to work hard so that they can achieve or exceed the capabilities we know that they have. It is our belief that we are the gate keepers to opportunities and we support our students in order to have the power of choice.
